WHOOP Advanced Labs without a WHOOP
You can buy the blood test without wearing the band. But if you want labs interpreted alongside Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Pixel Watch, or Galaxy Watch data, you need a device-neutral alternative.

The short answer: WHOOP now says you can purchase Advanced Labs without a WHOOP device or membership. What you cannot do is substitute another wearable for WHOOP inside its recovery-and-strain system.
Without the band, you still receive the blood draw, clinician-reviewed report, and action plan. You do not get months of Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Pixel Watch, or Samsung data interpreted as if it were WHOOP data.
That distinction matters because the best part of the WHOOP pitch is not the blood draw itself. Quest Diagnostics can run the same underlying lab assays for many providers. WHOOP's real advantage is placing blood results beside its own continuous sleep, recovery, strain, and HRV history.
If you already have years of data in another ecosystem, buying another wearable just to unlock that context is a poor trade. The better question is: which blood-testing service can work with the wearable you already use?

WHOOP's storefront says no membership or device is required to start testing. Some older WHOOP support pages still describe membership requirements, so confirm the checkout terms for the exact panel you choose.
Advanced Labs for the wearable you already own
Compatibility is not a single yes-or-no feature. A provider may connect to an ecosystem but import only a subset of sleep, activity, heart-rate, or recovery data. These are the best-documented routes as of August 2026.
Apple Watch
Data route: Apple Health
Best documented fit: Empirical Health or InsideTracker
Apple Watch records heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, sleep, workouts, activity, and cardio-fitness estimates in Apple Health. Empirical Health is the clearest clinical option because it is built around Apple Health data and physician care. InsideTracker also imports Apple Health for performance-focused recommendations.
Fitbit
Data route: Fitbit connection
Best documented fit: Empirical Health or InsideTracker
Fitbit users can keep their sleep, activity, resting-heart-rate, and readiness history. Empirical Health and InsideTracker both document Fitbit support; Function Health also lists Fitbit among its connections, though wearable analysis is less central to its product.
Pixel Watch
Data route: Fitbit and Health Connect
Best documented fit: Empirical Health
Pixel Watch health data is managed through Fitbit, with some data available through Android Health Connect. Empirical Health explicitly names Pixel Watch support. Do not assume that every service advertising generic Fitbit support handles every Pixel Watch metric in the same way.
Samsung Galaxy Watch and WearOS
Data route: Health Connect
Best documented fit: Empirical Health
Samsung Health and other WearOS apps can share supported data through Health Connect. Empirical Health explicitly documents Samsung Galaxy Watch and broader WearOS support through Health Connect. Metric availability depends on what the watch and its companion app write to Health Connect.
Garmin
Data route: Direct Garmin connection
Best documented fit: InsideTracker or Function Health
Garmin's strongest context includes sleep, HRV, activities, training load, and recovery-oriented metrics. InsideTracker and Function Health document Garmin connections. Empirical Health does not currently list a direct Garmin connection, so Garmin users should verify the exact imported metrics before choosing a service.
Oura Ring
Data route: Direct Oura connection or Apple Health
Best documented fit: InsideTracker, Function Health, or Superpower
Oura provides especially useful overnight context: sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, temperature trends, and readiness. InsideTracker and Function Health document Oura connections, while Superpower advertises Oura support. On iPhone, some Oura data can also flow through Apple Health, but the imported fields vary by service.

There is no perfect cross-device clone of WHOOP. WHOOP calculates proprietary recovery and strain scores from its own sensor data. An alternative can combine your labs with wearable trends, but it should not pretend to reproduce WHOOP's exact scores.

If the wearable connection is the reason you are interested, stay with your current device and choose around it. Apple Watch, Pixel Watch, Samsung, Fitbit, and WearOS users should start with Empirical Health. Garmin and Oura users should start with InsideTracker, then compare Function Health if broader blood screening matters more than wearable analysis.
Before paying, ask the provider one concrete question: Which exact fields from my device will appear in my recommendations? A logo on an integrations page is not proof that sleep stages, HRV, training load, temperature, and workout history all make it through.
