Is Mito Health worth it?
By Elo. Prices checked .
Mito Core can offer a useful broad baseline, but compare the whole purchase. The discounted lab price does not include membership or the collection fee, and joining for a full year is not the only option. The provider charges $296.59 + draw fee with annual membership. A partial Marek Diagnostics rebuild costs $524.95 for 75 of the 98 panel entries analyzed here, including 5 additional calculations from the lab results.
I've reviewed Mito's published panel and membership terms against services I've used. This is a calculation from those terms, not a firsthand Mito testing report.
What does Mito Health's price include?
Core Panel: $296.59 + draw fee with annual membership. One Core panel; membership does not include retests. The Core member price is $197.59. A year of membership is $99, making $296.59 before the provider-dependent draw fee. Membership adds tracking and guidance; live consultations are separate purchases.
The product page labels prolactin for women and PSA for men. The main basket below is the recorded male version, excluding prolactin; the female version excludes PSA. Our recorded list is shorter than Mito’s current catalog. Its comparison table says RBC magnesium while the detailed list says magnesium; we leave that entry unpriced until the sample type is confirmed. Mercury also remains outside this selected retail catalog.
What would the lab tests cost separately?
The selected basket contains 30 purchasable products: $524.95 tests + $0 collection = $524.95 for one order and visit. Marek charges $10 per Quest visit, waived for orders of $199 or more. No lab membership or coupon is assumed.
The partial basket is $228.36 more than the provider price before Mito’s collection fee. That supports a cash-price value case for this breadth, but it does not prove this is the cheapest way to get the tests you need.
Coverage is measured against our recorded comparison list, after aliases and duplicate entries are removed. It is not an audit of every result in the provider's current marketing count. A result reported by a bundled lab product may itself be calculated; these counts are not numbers of independently measured assays.

Calculations with no additional assay charge: Cortisol/DHEA-S Ratio; Estimated Average Glucose (eAG); Free Testosterone/Cortisol Ratio; TG:HDL Ratio; Non-HDL Cholesterol. These can be computed from the basket's inputs; a retail lab order does not necessarily deliver them in the provider's format.
Uncovered entries (23): Total Bilirubin; Magnesium (sample type unconfirmed); Mercury; Mean Platelet Volume (MPV); Urine Albumin/Creatinine Ratio; Amorphous Sediment; Urine Bacteria; Calcium Oxalate Crystals; Urine Casts; Urine Crystals; Granular Casts; Hyaline Casts; Urine Microalbumin; Urine Red Blood Cells; Renal Epithelial Cells; Squamous Epithelial Cells; Transitional Epithelial Cells; Triple Phosphate Crystals; Urate Crystals; Urine White Blood Cells; Urine Yeast; Corrected Calcium; Fibrosis-4 Index (FIB-4).
Some gaps reflect conservative matching. Marek's itemized CMP omits total bilirubin, and its CBC list omits mean platelet volume, so those remain uncovered. Its routine urinalysis has reflex microscopy, so we do not promise individual microscopic findings. Assay methods, sample types and sex-specific eligibility can differ even for matched names. The basket assigns no price to the provider's app, consultation, scores or action plan.
Sex-specific basket scenarios
| Recorded scenario | Cash basket, including collection | Covered entries |
|---|---|---|
| Male, main analysis | $524.95 | 75 / 98 |
| Female | $503.95 | 75 / 98 |
These scenarios remove the explicitly identified sex-specific tests described above. They do not establish identical eligibility for every other hormone test. Confirm the panel offered for your circumstances.
When would a small lab order cost less?
| Marek order | Tests | Collection | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| CMP + CBC + lipid panel | $27 | $10 | $37 |
| Lipid panel + ApoB + hs-CRP | $47.50 | $10 | $57.50 |
These orders do not reproduce Mito Health's whole panel or support. They show why a short test list may cost much less than a comprehensive package. They are shopping examples, not advice that these tests are sufficient for everyone. See the individual test cost guides for product sources and other focused comparisons.
How do repeat testing and membership change the math?
Without membership, Core is $276.75 plus collection. One month at $9 plus the $197.59 member panel is $206.59 plus collection, assuming cancellation after that month and no additional membership period is required through completion. A full year paid monthly is $305.59 plus collection. The $99 annual option totals $296.59 plus collection. Confirm cancellation timing, retained access and the exact draw fee at checkout; each later panel is a separate purchase.
A retail cash basket is not an insurance quote. A covered clinician-ordered test could cost less out of pocket; deductibles, negotiated rates and medical-necessity rules determine that. The insurance estimate on our Function page cannot be applied to a different panel.
How does Mito Health compare with other testing services?
Compare package prices and support alongside coverage. These partial baskets have different missing tests and are not a ranking of clinical usefulness or savings.

Our Function analysis and Superpower analysis use earlier, separately selected baskets. Differences in catalog dates, matching and scope mean their rebuild totals should not be ranked against this table as though the panels were interchangeable.

- Marek public catalog, page 1 and page 2, listed prices captured October 17, 2026. Every chosen product is linked above. Collection fee and $199 waiver.
- The basket selects the lowest product subtotal covering the priceable inputs within our selected catalog of individual tests and small panels.
