How did Superpower change its panel in 2026?

Superpower broadened its panel in September 2026. The published test list now shows a baseline plus re-test, about 86 reported non-ratio biomarkers, and a more complete screening panel.
Compared with our older 59-marker model, the new published panel adds urinalysis, iron studies, and a broader CBC. I count standard calculated outputs like non-HDL, eGFR, iron saturation, and eAG as legitimate biomarkers.
What changed most
The biggest change is structural. Superpower now publishes a broader screening panel with a real re-test.
The most important additions are the urinalysis block, the iron studies, and the broader complete blood count. Those make it look much closer to a comprehensive preventive screen.
What Superpower appears to have added
- Urinalysis markers: appearance, bacteria, bilirubin, blood, glucose, ketones, leukocyte esterase, nitrite, pH, protein, RBC, WBC, specific gravity, squamous epithelial cells
- Iron studies: ferritin, iron, total iron binding capacity (TIBC), iron saturation
- Broader CBC detail: absolute basophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, and neutrophils
- Red-cell detail: RDW, MCH, MCHC, MCV
- Mean platelet volume (MPV)
- Cortisol
- Chloride

- Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase -> Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT)

Does this make Superpower better than Function?
It makes the comparison closer than it was before. Superpower's newer published panel is broader and more serious than the earlier version we had modeled.
But it does not erase the core trade-off. Function still looks stronger on baseline breadth in advanced lipids, heavy metals, and omega testing. Superpower now looks stronger than before on general screening completeness, especially with urinalysis and iron studies.
